Obituary
January 24, 1935 - March 21, 2009 Betty went to be with God on Saturday March 21, 2009 at Cascades Hospices Chilliwack, B.C at the age of 74 years. Betty was born in Drachten, Holland and immigrated to Canada settling in Thunder Bay, Ontario with her family. She married George in 1955 and they settled on his dad's farm and raised their family. In 1978 Betty and George and their 2 youngest children moved to Abbotsford, B.C where she lived the remainder of her life. Betty loved God's creation and enjoyed the beauty all around her. She loved to help out where she could and was always a friendly presences to those she had contact with. Betty will be sadly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by daughter's Diane Muller, Thunder Bay, Terry Ypma, Abbotsford, Heidi Irvine (Kieran), Abbotsford Son Jack Ypma (Maria) Thunder Bay. Grandchildren Stephanie, Robby, Julien and Dovan. Sister's Ella Tenhave (Don), Ann Bolt, Brothers John Ypma, Cye Ypma (Cathy) all in Thunder Bay, Ontario Many other relatives reside in Thunder Bay. Betty is predeceased by her Husband George, Parents Loui and Geraldine and Son in Law Wilf Muller. Other relatives and friends have gone before her. Funeral services will be held on March 25, 2009 at 2 pm at Living Hope Christian Reformed Church, Paster Harold DeJong officiating."
